This fit-out and extension project was undertaken on an existing former Debenham's department store situated on Exeter high street. The site was bound by residential units, the high street, and another main road, with around 22,000 people walking past the building each day. The fit out works were conducted over the five sales floors, one restaurant floor and four back-office and service floors with the completion of a three storey extension taking place simultaneously. The scope of works comprised the design and fitting of internal walls and partitions, internal doors, ceiling finishes, floor finishes, decoration, builders work, M+E plant, security features, lifts, escalators, customer and staff canteens, signage, and racking. The overlapping of the extension and fit out works allowed the store to open for the Christmas 2012 period. GIA = 128,995 ft², Sales floor area = 67,490 ft²
