Frameworks

Frameworks are an important source of activity, providing the opportunity to build strong partnerships and secure repeat business through a collaborative two stage process.

These partnerships with private and public sector customers are an excellent fit with our strategy to build long-term relationships with customers by delivering our vision to be leaders in customer service and performance.

There are also significant benefits for customers, with a shift in focus from lowest price tendering to early collaborative engagement between customer and contractor on planning and design.

The result is less waste in the project process, leading to more efficient delivery and improved predictability of project cost, time and quality performance.

How it works

Frameworks operate by customers establishing agreements with pre-approved contractors who have already been through a rigorous tendering and evaluation process. It simplifies the procurement route and brings added value through early contractor involvement in the project development.

More than 80% of Midas Group’s work is now carried out on a repeat business basis including a multitude of projects delivered through frameworks.  As well as successfully bidding to be part of frameworks, Midas Group has set out to take a leading role supporting our customers in ensuring their frameworks work effectively and deliver added value.
