Promising start to the year for Midas Interiors
Midas Interiors, the specialist fit-out and refurbishment arm of the Midas Group, has begun 2011 on an optimistic note having successfully completed two notable contracts and started on three more.
The Bristol based business has won a £1.7 million office refurbishment at Bristol's Aztec West on behalf of energy consultants Electricity Supply Limited and a £2.5 million fit-out contract for new offices for the Somerset division of Thales UK, the world leader in mission-critical information systems for defence and security, aerospace and transportation.
Work has also just started on a £9 million refit of a former Debenham's multi-story retail building in central Exeter on behalf of John Lewis and Land Securities.
Midas Interiors has just completed a £500,000 fit-out of Portsmouth Ferry Terminal offices on behalf of Portsmouth City Council while another team is preparing to hand over the Church of our Lady, Star of the Sea in Ilfracombe after an extensive £300,000 remodelling including the provision of a new sacristy, under floor heating and general upgrading.
Derek Quinn, Executive Director of Midas Interiors, said: "We are delighted with this promising start to the year and there are more very good prospects in the pipeline. We are particularly pleased that these contracts reflect the wide range of experience and skills at our disposal, a strength in depth which underlines a varied portfolio of clients and a wide geographical spread.
